As part of our commitment to act in line with our environmental policies and sustainability principles, we continuously strive to improve and expand our environmental management practices across all areas. To ensure a holistic approach to environmental management, we also implement various initiatives under the subheading of emission management. Our commitment to environmental protection is not only about offering sustainable products to our customers but also about adding value to our environment. Therefore, we actively play a role in environmental management systems and emission management solutions.

At Kimpur, we are dedicated to developing a comprehensive strategy for emission management. Within this strategy, we are working on various areas such as zero waste, energy efficiency, and renewable energy projects. Our company strictly follows a zero-waste policy to minimize waste. We prioritize recycling the waste generated during the production process and focus on reusing these materials. By doing so, we aim to reduce our environmental impact and ensure more efficient use of natural resources. Within our company, we offer different solutions for energy conservation. To enhance energy efficiency, we continuously monitor and maintain the process elements used in the production process. Additionally, simple yet effective measures such as replacing lighting systems with LED lights to reduce energy consumption have been implemented. Our company also invests in renewable energy sources to reduce its carbon footprint. By utilizing renewable energy sources like solar energy and ensuring that a significant portion of the energy used in the production process comes from these sources, we are working to minimize our emission levels as much as possible.

To manage our greenhouse gas inventory and our impact on climate change, we have been calculating our carbon footprint annually since 2020 in accordance with the ISO 14064 Standard for Monitoring, Calculating, and Verifying Greenhouse Gas Inventories.
