Climate Crisis and Carbon Management

Reducing Emissions

Goal: Energy Reduction of carbon emissions by 33%

Base Year: 2022

Target Year: 2030

Progress: In 2023, our Total Carbon Footprint increased by 10%. This is due to the commissioning of the Düzce production facility along with our high sales volume in 2023. Carbon emission reduction efforts continue.

Energy Savings

Goal: Providing 22% energy savings

Base Year: 2022

Target Year: 2030

Progress: 7% energy savings were achieved in 2023.

Waste Management

Goal: Reduction of hazardous contaminated waste per ton by 5%

Base Year: 2022

Progress: In 2023, the amount of waste per ton increased by 0.001 due to the increase in production.

Environmentally Friendly Facilities

Goal: Obtainment of ISO 50001 Energy Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certificates for our Düzce and European Production Facilities

Goal: Development of innovative, high value-added, sustainable product portfolio in all product groups - 20 and more new projects

Progress: 50 R&D projects were completed in 2023. 21 of them were presented to the sector as launches. Other projects were carried out on a customer-specific basis.

Sustainable Product Range | Recycling

Goal: Testing of graphene obtained from waste tires in footwear systems

Progress: The first tests of graphene obtained from waste tires in shoe systems are positive, and industrial scale trials are planned.


Goal: Commercialization of flexible polyurethane systems using graphene obtained from waste tires

Progress: Polyurethane system developments have been completed; sales infrastructure work continues for commercialization.


Goal: Usage of at least 5% of polyol obtained through recycling in all product ranges

Sustainable Product Range | Sustainable Resources

Goal: A halogen-free system and bio-based system called Green PIR, which we aim to fully commercialize within 2023, will constitute approximately 5% of PIR system sales

Occupational Health and Safety

Progress: Requirements are meticulously fulfilled within the framework of legal regulations and legislations. Within the scope of OHS, all risks are identified and action plans are created. Processes are continuously monitored by our OHS specialist through internal audits


Goal: Reduction of accident frequency and accident severity rate by 15%

Base Year: 2022

Target Year: 2024

Progress: In 2023, there was a 56% increase in the accident frequency rate compared to the previous year due to a 20% increase in the number of personnel. The accident severity rate decreased by 33%.

Employee Training

Goal: Increasing training hours per person by 15% and obtaining at least 85% score from training evaluation results conducted with employees

Progress: In 2023, the training hours per person decreased by 15% compared to the previous year due to a 20% increase in the number of personnel during the year. An 8% increase was observed in the training evaluation surveys conducted with employees

Employee Loyalty

Goal: Maintaining at least 75 points from employee loyalty survey

Progress: In the employee dependency survey conducted by the Happy Place to Work organization in 2023, 80 points were received. The target will continue to be maintained.

Gender Equality and Inclusion

Goal: In addition to creating measures and support methods against domestic violence with the Business World Network of Companies Against Domestic Violence, raising awareness about women's rights in the business world, increasing the interaction and experience sharing of companies struggling in this field, and disseminating good practice examples
