KIMplas® Special Compounds

Kimpur has included thermoplastic compounds into its product range, in addition to the polyurethane systems for the manufacturing of shoe soles and slippers, with an aim to grow organically and geographically, using its current sales network and customer portfolio.

These products, called KIMplas® Special Compounds, are EVA-based, expandable and cross-linkable compounds modified with elastomers to improve softness, hardness, opacity and silky soft touch aspects based on our customers’ demands. They can be characterized by their low density and tailor-made colours.

Through its affiliate, Kimplast Granül San. ve Tic. A.Ş., Kimpur has effectively conducted research and development processes for EVA Compounds, which are suitable for the production of high quality shoes, midsoles, insoles, outsoles, slippers and similar products, started to manufacture in 2020 under the ‘KIMplas® Special Compounds’ brand, and achieved an important position in the market, ensuring high level of customer satisfaction within a short period of time.

The soles and slippers produced with KIMplas® Special Compounds have exceeded expectations with their desired mechanical and physical properties, while maintaining a highly aesthetic look and attractiveness, especially in terms of fashion.

High customer satisfaction and demand have encouraged KIMplast to make new investments. The company aims to reach the highest installed capacity in Turkey by completing such investment processes as soon as possible. This will allow it to target rapid growth in global markets while serving its customers in the local market.
