Kimpur and Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş. Reinforce Their Leadership in the Sector with Strategic Cooperation

Kimpur, the leading company in the polyurethane industry, has signed a very successful cooperation with Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş., one of the global pioneers in the distribution and recycling of plastic and rubber materials. Within the scope of this cooperation, ‘Ravapol’ brand polyurethane systems produced in Ravago facilities will now be produced and offered for sale in Kimpur facilities.

Kimpur, which ranks 204th among Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises and exports to more than 50 countries in 5 continents worldwide, reinforces its position as the largest polyurethane system house in the region through its 141 thousand tonnes capacity Gebze Production Facility in Türkiye and 30 thousand tonnes capacity Düzce Production Facility, which became operational in July 2024, and its 25 thousand tonnes capacity subsidiary in Europe, while further consolidating its position in the global market with this successful cooperation.

With this strategic cooperation with Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş., Ravago’s polyurethane machinery park will be moved to Kimpur’s Düzce facilities and an additional 85,000 tonnes of capacity will be created. With this additional capacity, Kimpur Group will be one step closer to its goal of reaching the top 10 production capacity in the world with a total capacity of 280,000 tonnes, with 255,000 tonnes in Türkiye and 25,000 tonnes in Latvia.

Cavidan Karaca, CEO of Kimpur, emphasised the strategic importance of the cooperation and made the following evaluations: “The international companies we have established in the USA, Germany and the UK and our expanding export portfolio will be further strengthened with this new co-operation. This co-operation will enable us to reach more consumers worldwide and expand our existing product portfolio by reinforcing our presence in global markets.”

Kimpur, which announced last month that it recorded a solid growth with its strong financial performance for 2023, stated that it will continue to achieve sustainable profitability and growth by further strengthening its position in exports in the coming years.
