As a leading company in the polyurethane industry, Kimpur has successfully completed the installation of all reactors as part of its strategic collaboration with Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş., further strengthening its production infrastructure. Announced in May, this partnership involved relocating Ravago’s polyurethane machinery to Kimpur’s Düzce facility, creating an additional capacity of 85,000 tons. With this investment, Kimpur has now reached a total production capacity of 280,000 tons, taking another significant step toward becoming one of the largest manufacturers in the industry worldwide.
Efficient and Automation-Focused Production Model
By integrating the reactors transferred from Ravago, Kimpur has significantly reinforced its production infrastructure. To ensure uninterrupted production, all auxiliary facility components were integrated, backup systems were established, and processes were controlled through automation. This approach has enhanced energy efficiency while ensuring continuity and operational reliability in production processes.
As a result of these investments, the facility infrastructure has been strengthened to align with future growth projections and is now ready for new investments. With this development, Kimpur has gained the flexibility to expand its production capacity in response to customer demand.
Having conducted its first production using the transferred reactors in January, Kimpur successfully completed trial productions of sandwich panel and refrigerator systems. Now, with the full installation of all reactors, the company has further expanded its infrastructure to support the production of polyester, rigid and flexible polyurethane foam systems, and prepolymers. These new systems are continuously being integrated into production processes to enhance Kimpur’s growing product portfolio.
Kimpur CEO Cavidan Karaca commented on the development, stating:
“Within the scope of our collaboration with Ravago Petrokimya A.Ş., we have successfully completed the installation of all transferred reactors and integrated them into our production infrastructure. This strategic step has provided us with a significant advantage in offering faster and more flexible solutions to customer demands.
The Ravago reactors integrated into our facility have been meticulously structured to form a robust system capable of meeting all future demands. With this investment, we have further strengthened our position as the largest polyurethane systems house in the region and remain committed to enhancing our global competitiveness.”
With its reinforced production infrastructure and expanded manufacturing facilities, Kimpur has further increased its competitive strength. Thanks to its modern production plants and integrated systems, the company has achieved a flexible and efficient production structure capable of adapting to future growth objectives. Through this investment, Kimpur continues to strengthen its position in the global market, delivering innovative solutions that shape the industry.
