Operating with innovative systems developed for the polyurethane industry, Kimpur continues to invest in sustainable raw material management. After previously initiating the production of PET-based polyester polyols by sourcing post-consumer PET waste in flake form, the company has now commissioned its PET recycling line investment, bringing PET processing operations into its own facilities.
Enhanced Process Control in PET Processing
With the new investment, PET waste supplied by vendors will now be shredded and processed within Kimpur’s facilities. This development is expected to provide higher process control in PET raw material processing, while supporting consistency in production quality, improving operational efficiency, and enabling more effective management of production processes.
Reprocessing PET waste and utilizing it in manufacturing processes plays an important role in increasing resource efficiency. Through the newly commissioned PET recycling line, Kimpur aims to integrate recycled raw materials into its production processes more effectively.
While continuing to develop value-added solutions for the polyurethane industry through advanced production technologies and sustainability-focused investments, Kimpur also continues to strengthen its production infrastructure with applications that support the use of alternative raw materials.
