Flame Retardants:
TCPP (tris(chloropropyl)phosphate):
TCPP is a flame-retardant additive structurally comprised of chlorine and phosphate. It is a colorless liquid that remains stable at the ambient temperature at which it is produced. It is used in polyurethane floor coatings, sponges and adhesives, and is generally stored in aluminum or primed tankers.
TEP (Triethyl phosphate):
Triethyl phosphate is a high boiling solvent used as a catalyst for rubber and plastics. It is used as a pesticide and as a raw material for pesticide. Triethyl phosphate, with a chemical formula of (CH3CH2O)3PO is a halogen-free flame retardant. It dissolves in organic solvents due to its chemical structure.
