Flame Retardants
Flame retardants are additives used to improve the fire performance and reduce the flammability of various polymer systems. The KIMraw® product group includes Tris(1-chloro-2-propyl) Phosphate (TCPP) and Triethyl Phosphate (TEP) product options.

TCPP (Tris(1-chloro-2-propyl) Phosphate)
Tris(1-chloro-2-propyl) Phosphate (TCPP) is a liquid flame retardant containing phosphorus and chlorine. It is widely used as a flame-retardant additive in polyurethane foams, polyurethane systems, adhesives, and coating applications to enhance fire performance.
TEP (Triethyl Phosphate)
Triethyl Phosphate (TEP) is a halogen-free phosphate ester with the molecular formula C₆H₁₅O₄P. In addition to its use as a flame-retardant additive in polyurethane systems, plastics, and various polymer applications, it is also used as a solvent and processing aid in selected formulations.
