Waste Management

Within the scope of our waste management; we adopt a management model that complies with the ISO 14001 standard. While designing this system, we aim to minimize the negative environmental impact, and we act in this direction. With the model we have adopted, we constantly review our production processes, apply the understanding of continuous improvement for the efficient use of raw materials and energy, use innovative technologies, and develop projects to reduce waste in this respect.

Reducing waste at source and separating products suitable for recycling or reuse are amongst are focus. We implement storage, transportation, disposal and recycling processes in accordance with the legal requirements regarding our waste generated in our facilities. With the Zero Waste System we established in our factory, we collect waste separately at the source according to their type and ensure their recycling.

According to the World Economic Forum, about 6.6 million tons of polyurethane waste are generated globally each year. This waste is mostly from foam mattresses, furniture, and building insulation. Polyurethane waste is a major environmental problem because it is not biodegradable and can release harmful pollutants into the environment. Kimpur and one of top good white manufacturers plan to work together to develop new technologies for chemical recycling of polyurethane foam. They will also work together to raise awareness of the benefits of chemical recycling and to promote the adoption of this technology. The target is that usage of %10 chemical recycle polyurethane foam refrigerator.
