Kimpur, one of the leading companies in the polyurethane sector with its 40 years of experience, continues to demonstrate its achievements in the field of sustainability. Kimpur has been successful in receiving an A grade in the Synesgy scoring system for the Sustainability Research project that Fortune Turkey and CRIF Turkey collaborated on, signifying an exceptionally high degree of sustainability.
Continuing its efforts towards a more sustainable and livable future, Turkey’s 100% domestic capital polyurethane producer Kimpur presents the outcomes of its sustainability practices with its successes. According to the Fortune Turkey & CRIF Turkey Sustainability Research, only 88 of the Fortune 500 Turkey companies have enough shareable sets of data to measure their sustainability performance. Kimpur was among the 88 companies that participated in this research, confirming its success in the field of sustainability. Furthermore, Kimpur was selected as one of the 19 companies that received an ‘A Level of Excellence’ score among these companies.
The question set and analysis system in the Fortune Turkey & CRIF Turkey Sustainability Research covers the three main topics of sustainability; environmental, social, and corporate governance of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, European Green Consensus, GRI corporate sustainability reporting standards, as well as company and sector-specific questions. According to the results of the research, Kimpur received a “A” grade after providing all of its data and participating in the scoring system, demonstrating that it has achieved an excellent level in sustainability and a world-class level development.
