Turkey’s polyurethane system house Kimteks Poliüretan San. Ve Tic. A.Ş.(KİMPUR) has taken an important step towards its goal of strengthening its presence in Europe with its investment of 25 thousand tons in Latvia. Collaborating with ‘Adamantan SA’ company within the scope of the protocol, Kimpur made a partnership and establised SIA Kimpur Europe in Latvia. SIA Kimpur Europe, which is formed 75% by Kimpur’s share, will continue its activities as Kimpur’s subsidiary.
Kimteks Poliüretan San. Ve Tic. A.Ş. (KİMPUR), which is among Turkey’s top 500 industrial enterprises, established SIA Kimpur Europe, which 75% is owned by Kimpur’s subsidiary. By purchasing the existing investment of the company named Adamantan SA in Latvia, in line with its growth targets in global markets, Kimpur ensures one of the most important strategic points in Europe. The partnership occured with 75% Kimpur and 25% Adamantan’ s share. With this investment, Kimpur will increase its production capacity by an additional 25 thousand tons, as well as strengthening its competitive position in European markets by taking advantage of logistic advantages.
The Polyurethane systems that Kimpur produces is used in different sectors such as, footwear, automotive, furniture, heating and cooling and insulation-construction industries. Kimpur leads the sector by exporting more than 45 countries and has been producing polyurethane systems for different sectors such as automotive, footwear, furniture, building and construction for 39 years, is taking firm steps towards its goal to having a strong position in the European market and increasing its sales with these investments.
Latvia will be our strategic investment point.

As one of Turkey’s wholly domestic polyurethane system Manufacturer one of the well known system house among the global system houses, with its technology and R&D investments, Kimpur has made a 50 thousand tons of investment in Düzce OSB (which is situated on the Black Sea between the Capital Ankara and Istanbul) , focusing on sustainability and recycling, while concentrating on a strategic framework in Latvia. With its work in the field of sustainability, Kimpur is aiming to leave a more livable world for future generations and published its 2021 Sustainability Report last week.
